Maxine Issiqut Sakuut Angoo is a proud Inuk woman who grew up in Whale Cove, Nunavut, a small community of 350 people. She was raised by her grandparents, Jack and Makki Angoo. She now lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba with her two daughters, Melody and Sivui.
