Jayda Hope is a 22-year-old abolitionist organizer and Black woman born and raised on Treaty 1 Territory (Traditional territories of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Ojibwe, Oji-Cree, Dene peoples and homeland of the Metis Nation) to parents of Caribbean descent. She is an artist, published poet, and organizer with Justice 4 Black Lives Winnipeg and Police Free Schools Winnipeg.
