It's been an honour to be the interim editor of Briarpatch since January 2023. As I move onto new projects, I’m so excited to welcome Meera Eragoda as Briarpatch’s new editor.
Meera is a writer and editor of Tamil-Sinhalese Sri Lankan origin. Having spent the last 20 years on MST lands, they are deeply appreciative of the communities of care and resistance there. They enjoy cycling as a form of pleasure activism, dreaming of collective futures, a good croissant, and trying to befriend people with dogs.
I couldn't be more confident leaving Briarpatch in Meera's capable hands, and I can't wait to see what they publish in the upcoming issues. Please join me in welcoming Meera to the Briarpatch team!
