Waaseyaa’sin Christine Sy

Waaseyaa’sin Christine Sy was born and raised in the Bawating (Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.) region of the Robinson-Superior Treaty area. She is Anishinaabe of mixed ancestry and is a poet, writer, and PhD student of Indigenous studies at Trent University.
