Kyla Sankey is a PhD candidate in the school of politics and international relations at Queen Mary University of London. Her research interests include critical development studies, Latin American political economy, labour, social movements and rural sociology. Her doctoral research explores the contemporary dynamics of the agrarian question and peasant social movements in Colombia.
