Amber Gross is the former local president of AMUSE (Association of McGill University Support Employees – Public Service Alliance of Canada) and was an activist during the 2012 Quebec student strike. She is currently a collective member of the Prisoner Correspondence Project, a resource and support organization for queer and trans prisoners in Canada and the U.S.
