James J. Brittain

James J. Brittain is a Maritimer through and through. He is a professor within the department of sociology and a faculty member of the social and political thought graduate program at Acadia University. Interested in social reproduction, his work interrogates how capitalism impedes the flourishing of all yet always fosters contradictions that make possible the potential to organize and challenge its social power.
