Announcing the New Editor – Tanya Andrusieczko

Following our national job call and the assessment of many exceptional candidates, we are pleased to announce that Tanya Andrusieczko will join Briarpatch as the new editor in September.

Tanya comes to Briarpatch with a background in feminist political sociology and Indigenous studies and a fire in her belly for fostering radical political discussions and independent journalism. Tanya moved to Saskatoon from Toronto in 2010. She has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Ottawa, a Master of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan, and a Master of Science degree in political sociology from the London School of Economics.
