Briarpatch depends heavily on the goodwill of contributors who are willing to work for, frankly, little more than volunteer honoraria (the author of this piece, for instance, was paid $0.05/word to write, with all involved fully cognizant of the irony of the situation). I checked our records and it looks like a cheque was made out to you on November 20, 2009 and should have been sent to the address you provided. I take it you never received that cheque?
