No kidding! I've been trying to tell my union brotherhood for years that we've been had! And, especially, our union leaders and those of the NDP, as well. They think there is such a thing as a profit, created out of thin air, instead of what it really is--an illusionary thing wrested from the environment, the collective "wealth" of future generations, workers' hides and paychecks, and everyone else's health and welfare. Working opportunity funds (and other RRSP havens vying for workers' contributions) are not really helpful, for they do not sponsor worker-owned enterprises--or even even unionized enterprises! In fact, in the case of Concert Properties, they are often at odds with union apsirations.
