It is unfourtunate that Quint and represetatives from Station 20 West have not been forthcoming with information in regards to Station 20 West. Your article states that the community are partners in this project, unfortunatly that it not the case and the co-operative that has been formed by Quint/Chep for Station 20 West have been hand picked by them.
Not everyone in these communities are in favour of this grocery store and are in fear that this store while sounding good will turn into a glorified convenience store with inflated costs.
This enterprise claims to be a not for profit how will it be sustained, off the backs of the poor with inflated food costs!
There is a grocery store 2 blocks away from where this proposed Station 20 West is being built it is called Giant Tiger they offer all of the ammenties that this grocery store has and more.
This store is just another way that Quint will benefit from the backs of the poor, I wonder where their organic food will come from, there friends.
Things are not always how they appear!!!
