Excellent piece! Thanks for the email, B-Patch.
I’m just beginning explorations into this in my own writing, beginning with my response to really understanding that the land my great - grandparents homesteaded was stolen from the Original Peoples of this land in an experiment called colonization and going into the uranium issue as well as energy issues.
Here’s hoping the Universe provides so that I can run with it!

This is an important topic that warrants further discussion, especially considering that a planned raid could be carried out on April 1, 2006 in the Tyendinaga community which would be led by the RCMP and backed by the Canadian Military.
This is but one of many ongoing conflicts on Mohawk territory, which are the result of more than 500 years of colonization.
