I know exactly what you are describing. And, guess what? I’m an able bodied white man. lol
I don’t believe that insecurity is a gender-specific phenomenon.

True enough, Brian, but (being one myself), I’d have to say that able-bodied white men tend to get a lot more support and validation when they overcome their insecurities and speak up, and are generally raised to believe they’re entitled to voice their opinions and to speak as authorities.
Not everyone receives that same support or sense of entitlement.
