“The great contrast between the United States and Haiti is not, theologically speaking, that God has abandoned us and looks after the United States, but that our wealth has been, is, and will be stolen by the United States. It is clear that God has not abandoned us.
We denounce what they call 'aid'. We tell these countries we know their game, we are no longer begging on our knees, we stand to demand justice and denounce their 'aid'. To us these countries, including the United States, are underdeveloped countries----underdeveloped in the human sense.”
